 Great pack, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Deuter Futura Pro 38 (Misc.) I just came back from a day-long hike using the Deuter Futura Pro 38 backpack. It was my first time with the pack and I simply loved hiking with it.First, the pack was very comfortable because of the Variflex hip-belt which made it easy for the regular kind of movements you make on a muddy and steep trail. Also, I'm a thin guy and the hip-belt allowed for tightening it enough, so that it would fit me right. In that way, all the weight was correctly supported by my hips, not my neck muscles. Additionally, the Aircomfort back panel kept my back cool all day long. I've never had a backpack with such a great feature! The pack has a lot of room. I carried my stuff and my sister's stuff without any trouble: rain jackets, sweaters, ponchos and food. I tend to carry a lot of stuff and the pack did not feel nor seem physically bulky in spite of the load. Pockets in the pack are very convenient.
