The pack is very comfortable and very well made. When we planned a trip to the local zoo, I decided to take the pack with us. We bought the camelback bladder and put the kids clothes, snack, books, first aid kit. The bag worked so great, all the things fit nicely and it was not burden to carry, like my old diaper bags. The fact that I could drink fresh water whenever I wanted without having to buy bottles of water was so nice.I have now bought a pack of my own and whenever we go anywhere we take our packs with us. Everyone always comments what a nice idea it is to carry the pack with the water. I know that before I had the pack I would buy water and soda at very high prices, not anymore. I love this pack. Will last a lifetime, By Ryan Kinney (YAKIMA, WA, US) - See all my reviews This review is from: Map3500 3 Day Assault Pack 2300 Cu in Volume; Ocean Grey (Apparel) I have had one of these packs for over 5 years and I must say that it is one of the best school bags/ backpacking bags/ flight carry on that I have ever know.This bag has been through 5 years of school full of all that stuff, been on numerous backpacking trips when I was in the BSA, been overseas a few times, and is used as a range bag on an almost weekly basis. After all the beating it has taken over the years only a few things have worn. The elastic straps for a camelbak on the shoulder have pretty much given out, the zipper pulls have worn out but are easy to replace, and two or three areas have wear holes which once sewn shut haven't been an issue. I cannot speak more highly of this pack. |
