 My NEW Favorite Pack, This review is from: PARATUS Modular 3 Day Assault Pack - MOLLE Tactical Backpack (Misc.) I've got dozens of bags and this is my new favorite.First, the pictures don't do it justice. This thing is the perfect size for me. I'm about 6'2" and 210 lbs and this fits me perfectly. Plus because it is modular, if a smaller person was using it or if I didn't need to carry as much as this is capable of carrying, I just trim it down by removing the modular components. That leads to my second point. The removable deployment pack is AWESOME! Why don't all packs have this? I haven't used it yet (I'm planning on taking it out this weekend) but when I organize the pack for an excursion I'll place smaller items that I keep with me in that portion so if I choose to go for a short jaunt, I can disconnect that portion and go. I'll use it for my GPS, compass, phone, topo map, knife and small handgun. I am more and more impressed with it each time I use it.I am new to MOLLE packs and I regret not owning one earlier. The external MOLLE pouches can be moved around on the bag for better weight distribution. This is very important for long hiking trips. The deployment pack that comes with this is large enough to carry the necessities for small ventures from a base camp. It has a waist belt to make it easy to carry. This is a very durable bag. The zippers are large and smooth. The shoulder straps are surprisingly comfortable. Everything on this bag seems to be adjustable to meet the needs of your current trip.
